Evaporative cooling towers are used to cool the interior environment. In addition, the narrow footprint with both interior and exterior operable windows, increases the effectiveness of cross ventilation to passively ventilate the building. These strategies, combined with a large photovoltaic array on the roof create a net-zero energy facility.
